All driving licences with the uniform European driving licence categories A to D that have been issued since 1 January 1999 are recorded in the Central Driving Licence Register: Once the licence has been issued, the driving licence authority reports the data to the Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA). The data that is important for the driving licence is stored in the central driving licence register: Personal data, driving licence classes, conditions, restrictions and so on, but not the address.
