Our counsellors
- listen to you, answer your questions and give you an initial overview of the problem,
- decide on the next steps together with you,
- inform you about other help centres in your area,
- if you wish, we can put you in touch with a local contact person who will provide you with personalised advice and practical tips,
- put you in direct contact with specialists in all areas (these are experienced experts in the fields of social education, extremism prevention, psychology, trauma therapy and so on),
- put you in touch with other people in similar situations and with self-help initiatives.
The counselling is geared towards individual needs that are necessary for your exit from the scene or in dealing with radicalised or radicalising individuals.
You will first work out an assessment of the situation together with the counsellor before further concrete steps are taken.
If the counsellor and you come to the conclusion that you or someone else is at risk, you will be quickly and easily referred to the relevant authorities and of course continue to be accompanied by the konex counsellors.
If you or another person are in an acutely dangerous situation, contact the police, emergency number: 110.
