The Federal Funding for Efficient Buildings (BEG) combines previous funding programmes to promote energy efficiency and renewable energies in the building sector and supports, among other things, the use of new heating systems, the optimisation of existing heating systems, measures on the building envelope and the use of optimised system technology.
The BEG consists of three sub-programmes:
- Federal subsidy for efficient buildings - residential buildings (BEG WG)
- Federal funding for efficient buildings - non-residential buildings (BEG NWG)
- Federal funding for efficient buildings - individual measures (BEG EM)
The BEG EM sub-programme can be used to promote the replacement of heating systems, windows or roof refurbishment, for example.
For details, please refer to the table linked below under "More detailed information".
There is no legal entitlement to the subsidy. Payment can only be made if budget funds are available.
